ONLY ONE RESURRECTION

While some would separate the  resurrection of the righteous and the  wicked by 1000 years, others say there  will be no resurrection of the dead at  all (I Cor 15:12). Jesus said there will  be one resurrection of all: “The hour is  coming when all that are in the graves  shall hear his voice, and shall come  forth; they that have done good, unto  the resurrection of life; and they that  have done evil, unto the resurrection of  damnation” (John 5:28-29). Also read  I Thess 4:15-17. At the same coming  of Jesus, the wicked will be raised to  everlasting shame and punishment in  hell (2 Thess 1:7-10)

Every person who has ever lived wiil  be at the judgment day when Jesus shall  sit upon the throne of His glory at His  second coming (Matt. 25:31-32). When  Jesus comes, the righteous dead shall  rise from their graves to be joined with  the righteous living, and they together  will be caught up to be with the Lord  forever (I Thess. 4:6; Rev 20:5-6).  Our bodies will be changed to an  eternal nature (I Cor 15:51-54; Phil  3:21; Rom 8:23).
