THE BIBLE IS ENOUGH!

The Bible “furnishes the man  of God completely for every good  work” (2 Tim 3:16-17; 2 Pet 1:3).  This faith, this doctrine was given  “once and for all” time in the 1st  century (Jude 3). God’s man does  not need a church manual, creed,  catechism, Watchtower, Book  of Mormon or church discipline  to teach him how to worship or  live. It alone is the “perfect law”  (James 1:25), so to add to it or  to take away from it is prohibited  lest its perfection be marred (Rev  22:18-19; Gal 1:8-9).

The honored Benjamin Franklin  wrote: “A creed must contain more  than the Bible, less than the Bible,  differ from it, or be precisely like it.  No man defends his creed on the  ground that it contains more …  less … is different from … or is  the same as the Bible.” There is NO  ground for defending any official  creed book or catechism.

Unity is based on truth. When  the Bible is not honored as God’s  perfect and only guide, division  will occur among His people. See  Rom. 15:5 and 16:17. We will be  judged by the Bible, not by church  laws, councils and opinions (Jn  12:48; Rev 20:12).
