DIP AND BE CLEAN

Naaman was the greatest military leader in the land of Syria (2 Kings 5:1). But he had incurable leprosy. A little slave girl told Mrs. Naaman about a prophet in her country Israel who could cure him, so she told her husband. Naaman took many rich gifts and started south about 8 days journey to Israel. When Elisha heard he was in town, he sent this word: “Go and wash (dip) in the Jordan seven times and your flesh shall be clean.” Naaman became very ANGRY and started to go back home. He thought it should be done a different way, in rivers of Damascus! A servant humbly suggested to mad Naaman that he should obey this simple command. After all, God’s ways are not man’s ways (Isa 55:8-9). So he humbled himself and dipped seven times in Jordan river. Immediately his flesh was clean like that of a little child! Read all about it in your Bible. He had to hear, believe, repent and obey before he was clean. Friend, you have incurable sins. Humble yourself. Believe in Christ, repent of your sins, be dipped in water (baptism) and THEN you will be forgiven (Rom 10:17; Heb 11:6; Acts 2:38, Rom 6:3-4,17-18). Ask for booklet on Naaman.
