God’s power works through man to do His work

GOD-PLUS-US“Moses stretched out his hand over the sea … the sea became dry land and the waters were divided” (Ex 14:21). Man can become the tool of God to accomplish His purpose. “It is God which works in you” (Phil 2:13). He sent forth the gospel to all the world in one generation. He did it by using His church members for the work: “They went forth and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them” (Mark 16:20).

“We are workers together with Him” (2 Cor 6:1; I Cor 3:9). We “abound to every good work” through His grace (2 Cor 9:8). Paul labored abundantly, but it was the grace of God that was with him (2 Cor 15:10). We can do “exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us” (Eph 3:20-21).

God’s power can save the world, but He placed that power in preaching the gospel (Rom 1:16). This treasure is in “earthen vessels” (that is, in man’s preaching, 2 Cor 4:7; Rom 10:13-14). God’s power works in man to subdue all things (2 Cor 3:5; Phil 4:13). The gospel is good news that saves those who believe, repent and are immersed (baptized, Col 2:12; Acts 2:38; Rom 6:3-5) to walk a new life. God is “able to save to the uttermost”(Heb7:25;5:8-9).

Do not ever doubt God, for all things are possible with Him (Mt 19:26).
Serve Him! Praise Him!
