GOD
GOD IS! “The heavens declare His glory” (Psa 19:1). There is no excuse for atheism or idolatry (Rom 1:19-20). Only a fool denies His existence (Psa 14:1).
Our God is ONE in contrast to the myriads of gods of paganism (Dt 6:4). No creature or power possesses His nature and attributes.
God is manifested in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit (Mt 3:16-17; Gal 1:37; Heb 1:8; Acts 5:3-4).
“God is a spirit” (Jn 4:24) who has not flesh and bones (Lk 24:39). He is invisible and immortal (I Tim 1:17).
God is omnipotent, all powerful (Gen 18:14). He is “God the Almighty” (Rev 4:8) who created the universe by the word of his mouth (Psa 33:6).
God is omniscient, knowing everything (Heb 4:13; Acts 15:18). He knows the end from the beginning, and knows things that are not yet existing (Isa 467:10). Nothing is hidden from His sight (Psa 69:5).
God is omnipresent and cannot be contained in the heavens or the earth (I K 8:27; Jer 23:23-24). He can be with every disciple wherever they be till the end of the earth (Mt 28:20), and no one is able to hide from Him (Psa 139:7-13).
God is eternal (Psa 20:2; I Tim 1:17), from everlasting to everlasting.
God is unchangeable (Jam 1:17; Heb 13:8).
God is perfect in holiness (Isa 6:3; Isa 6:1-7; Psa 145:17).
God is infinitely just, righteous (Psa 89:14; Gen 18:25) and merciful to save mankind (2 Pet 3:9; Jn 3:16).
