MORMON RELIGION

You may be asking about the Mormon Church because presidential candidate Mitt Romney is prominent in that religion and contributes million$ to it.
The Mormon Church (Latter Day Saints) was organized by Joseph Smith on April 6, 1830 at Fayette, NY. At the age of 14 he began to have hallucinations (visions). When 17 he claimed Moroni, an angel, appeared before him and told him of the hiding place of golden plates with inscriptions on them. In 1827 he claimed to have received the plates and translate them. This was printed in 1830 as the Book of Mormon (now claimed as “Another Testament of
Jesus Christ”) with Smith and others as priests and apostles.
The hundreds of false claims of Mormonism are based on Joseph Smith, later killed in an Illinois jail where he was charged with treason (1844). His followers split up. The main group moved west to Utah and built a temple in Salt Lake City.
The only and last will and Testament of Christ, delivered “once and for all time” (Jude 3) Cir. AD 90, has never been lost and cannot be changed, making any claim of later revelations false and their perpetrators imposters. Ask for free booklet on Mormonism.
