TILL

Every word of Scripture is inspired of God, the product of His breath, and is absolutely true and “useful for doctrine, reproof, correction and instruction in righteousness.” The man of God is thus “furnished completely unto every good work” (2 Tim 3:16-17).

As an example, look at the little word “TILL” or “UNTIL” which always means change of action or inaction.

The STAR that led the wise men moved UNTIL it came to the place where Jesus was born (Mt 2:11).

Mary was a virgin UNTIL the birth of Jesus (Mt 1:21). There was a change, for she had children natural born after Jesus’ miraculous virgin birth (Mt 13:54-58). She rendered to her husband her due, and her marriage was honorable and their marriage bed (coitus) was “undefiled” (Heb 13:4) as she “rendered to her husband her due.” It is false doctrine that teaches she was a “perpetual virgin.”

The old law was in force UNTIL Christ came and nailed it to His cross. Then there was a “change of law” (Heb 7:12; Col 2:14-15; Eph 2:15). The law of Moses was in force TILL the death of Jesus (Heb 9:16). Also read Gal 3:19 and Mt 5:18 about TILL and the change of the law.

Jesus will reign over His kingdom, the church, TILL death is no more (Acts 2:34-35; Heb 12:28; | Cor 15:23-28; Acts 3:21; | Cor 11:26). There will be no future reign of Christ after His return.

Husband and wife are to be faithful TILL death (Mt 19:36; | Cor 7:10).
